Orphan Care

"Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world"

Orphan Care

We are firm believers in the responsibility of the church to provide for orphans in distress. Through our experience as foster/adoptive parents, we have also learned that best practice when caring for an orphan is to keep them as connected to their biological family and culture as possible, to minimize their trauma.

For this reason, we have a secret branch of ministry. When we see other Christians in town selflessly choosing to care for an orphan in distress, we love to come alongside them and provide them with financial support to provide for that child. Often we meet these children through our classes, and they become part of our scholarship program - but in addition to having their education covered, their sponsors will provide extra support for groceries and clothing.

We would love to expand this part of our ministry, as there are a handful of eligible students/families that we know right now who are not receiving any support.
